3.0 good | manosg EMERITUS | November 25th 16 | From the very first seconds, one can understand that this is essentially Running Wild worship. Every riff is taken from the Rock'n'Rolf playbook and despite the blatant copy, the album is very enjoyable. Especially, the guitar-work is on a high level with memorable melodic galloping riffs and harmonies which results in a very convincing atmosphere. However, where Wild Waves fails almost miserably is on the vocal department, as the delivery is very clean and tame for the subject matter of the LP. Overall, a very encouraging effort.
