Review Summary: If you've come for laughter, you've come to the right place. If you've come for anything else, go look somewhere else.

Before I start this review let me just state, you're either gonna love this album or hate it. How this album appeals to you is all about how open your sense of humor is.

Anal Cunt, even the name is sure to turn some off let alone the band's very controversial sense of offensive humor, with song titles such as "I Pushed Your Wife in Front of the Subway", "I Sent Concentration Camp Footage to America's Funniest Home Videos", and my personal favorite "I Became a Counselor So I Could Tell Rape Victims They Asked for It". Even though they were made for grindcore fans to flip out and have seizures, Anal Cunt has always wanted to have an album to be remembered for more then nonsensical screaming, and fast paced distorted guitars. One night after another line of cocaine successfully snorted Seth Patnam decided it was time to parody the one band no one else has dared to parody....themselves. How did they do it? They decided to go Folk music (NOT! folk metal) with acoustic guitars, and singing (yes actual singing) in falsetto, now why does this deserve a 5? It sounds like a bad idea, one that would most likely ruin a band. Well it is bad, very bad, in fact it's so bad it's good. Instead of pleasing all the ADHD ridden headbangers, they decided to invite laughter from...everybody. That's right, even if you hate grindcore, even if you hate hardcore, EVEN if you hate metal you're sure to get a kick out of this, but as someone else put in a review (if I could remember you dude, I would give you total credit right here) "10 people will play this album, 7 will laugh to death and skip back to the first track, the other 3 will take out the CD and destroy it" simply put the band's humor here will not be understood by all.

Hilarity ensues straight from the beginning with the title track of the album. I can't help, but snicker no matter how many times I listen to this, it's that hilariously bad. The next song "I Respect Your Feelings as a Woman and a Human" and I swear Seth sounded like Elmo! Again, comedy gold. "I Wanna Grow Old with You" has lyrics you cheesy fellas out there could sing to your girlfriends just don't be surprised when she starts laughing here's what you're getting

"When you're sick I'll be by your side with some tender loving care
Through all the good times, and when the cupboard is bare
When the baby is crying, I'll let you stay in bed
I'll honor every promise that I ever said"

"Saving Ourselves for Marriage" is a song that you can play at church, and everyone but the minster would laugh their asses off, even if it does tend to drag on a little long for me. "Greed is Something We Don't Need" is one of the most laugh out loud songs on the entire album, the opening line "Help! This is Mother Earth! Somebody please help me!" gets me everytime. "Sorry I'm Not That Kind of Boy" is my personal favorite with a story about a man who sales flowers, who rejects a woman and pretty much calls her a whore for simple action of touching his hand. It's really LMFAO worthy. "I Couldn't Afford to Buy You a Present (So I Wrote You This Song)" is something that could be mistaken for a laughably bad Disney song, and "I'd Love to Have Your Daughter's Hand in Marriage" is a tearjerker of a song in a good way. "My Woman, My Lover, My Friend" is something that Cat Stevens wish he'd written first, but that doesn't mean the song doesn't have a funny moment or 4. "Waterfall Wishes" isn't as funny as the others still worth a chuckle or two. "In My Heart There's a Star Named After You" has Seth again sounding like Elmo, and even throws in a little grindcore for all the fans out there, but in such an unsuspecting way it'll scare you ***less.

Overall, this is truly a case of so bad, it's good. It's all intentional though, so you have to remind yourself this album was made for laughter, nothing more, and it succeeds. Truly strange and unexpected comedy gold.

Pros-
Almost every song will ensue laughs
A true parody classic
Elmo like vocals will only bring out more laughter
You can listen to this time and time again

Cons-
You either love it, or hate it

Haha, nice one, I didn't think anybody would ever review this. I'm not sure if it deserves a 5, but it is a funny backwards album from this band.

While I do find these guys funny, there is no amount of justification stated that can prove to me that these guys are worthy of more than a 3/5 at best. Good review but these guys are crap musicians.

These guys are a joke

A funny joke, but still a joke

Haven't heard this but I gave their other albums 1.5's instead of 1's because the song titles are so fucking funny

anything that makes you laugh so hard that you fall off your chair deserves a 5 in my opinion.
