The Range has also taken a foray into filmmaking, making a documentary about the various musicians, mostly from YouTube, that he's sampled throughout his career. This EP is a nice companion piece, being similar in nature to his LP in March named Potential, utilizing a piano-driven UK bass and future garage sound that features some nice sample work. Any of these songs could've fit within Potential quite easily, and though it does have a few desultory remixes, tracks 2-5 are all original material and all pretty nice. It's a nice surprise from a man who's becoming more and more interesting as time goes on.
