A grower that requires multiple listens from start to finish as a complete record. Mark Kelly is noteworthy on the keyboard and Rothery is excellent as always on guitar. h absolutely shines during El Dorado's Demolished Lives and F E A R. (parts iii and iv of the suite). Considering its 2016 release, the lyrical concerns are quite prophetic during current times.

Hogarth shoots fish in a barrel, but at least he's prepared to say something about the state we're in. The Leavers is the opposite - subtle, heartbreaking, astounding.

A very emotional approach about the shit our modern society has to deal with. The themes which are prevalent on here are those who affect millions around the globe such as inequality, patriotism and immigration among others. Instrumentally, the album is dominated by Mark Kelly's keys and Steve Hogarth's vocals with Steve Rothery creating the soundscapes in which these two guys shine. A variety of melancholic moments and a few cathartic ones create an experience that is more appreciated during the evening or late at night.
