While it is a bit more stripped down than her previous opus, this nice little EP provides more of what we love from Chelsea Wolfe: dark vibes, a spacious atmosphere, and her wonderful voice. The opener is built upon a catchy acoustic riff, while the closer gets by on its connective lyrics, both songs being awash with the darkwave chills and haze that have so typified her sound. If anything, it's a nice teaser for what's to come, which will undoubtedly be some good stuff.
