Review Summary: pantera in chains, ah

Ah, A band of 2 external elements coming together in a single perfect sphere, indeed this is the recipe for excellence, is it not? Quite. The rabble fans of this album are few and far between, tis a shame considering the splendor this album yields. But one may look at the band name and think, ah, such a mimsy title usually makes for a bloody goofy album, rather. But alas, tis not the case. Ah, ah. So yes this band mixes both the groove of Pantera with the evile vocal harmonies of Alice in Chains (before the black dude). This is a really great mix as not only does it groove hard, but it harmonies hard too, indeed. Ah, but alas, rather so the music is music to my ears. Indeed you could very well say so, as i did in fact, say. The album grooves hard, harder than an erect pene. The album is not just a 2 trick pony either, there are some rather progressive moments to be found. The guitar playing is ace, the solos are technical yet never overdone to the point where your ears disagree. The bass is groovy as dick, especially when the guitar stops the bass unleashes rather spiffing licks, it is very impressive indeed. Songs like Free, Shed and 2 In Me groove so hard, quite, like the main riff of Free is so beef even Meshuggah would be proud if it. The drums are also a large part of this said groove, the off beat ride bell hitz make for a groove that is not only spiffy but also scrummy.

So yes indeed, i recommend this album to fans of Alice in Chains or Pantera, or both! The instrumentation is top notch, the vocals are very YEAAAAA OH YEAAAA and the groovy baby riffs make this album a bloody good listen if i do say so myself. Its a shame how far the band fell after this album, but at least we can remember the bloody good times, indeed. Ah.

Free is the shit, but it's kinda annoying how much the singing resembles Layne
