It's not the fact that Billy Gibbons plays Afro-Cuban, which is unusual for him, but the overall quality of the songs that make this album so poor. Boring songwriting, silly effects (both on vocals and instrumentally), "plastic" production and sparse guitar licks that have been played millions of times before are only some of the drawbacks of the album.
