On Flockaveli 1.5, Waka manages to recreate the aggression and energy that made his 2010 debut so
great without making a project that sounds formulaic. The amount of variety he incorporates into
his seemingly straightforward sound is impressive. Along with his usual bangers, he has an auto-
tuned club ballad in Lose My Mind, a dark Three 6 Mafia inspired track in AM 2 PM, and an
eccentric party song with a truly odd vocal delivery in Birthday. Flockaveli 1.5 is an excellent
trap rap offering and a worthy successor to the Flockaveli name.
