Review Summary: ForeverAtLast releases a hyping Sophomore LP called Ghosts Again.

ForeverAtLast is looking to burst into the music scene with an outstanding album called Ghosts Again. ForeverAtLast isn’t your generic everyday female-led four-piece band. They have created their own sound of a heavier Alternative Rock with a dash of Punk Rock.

This new album introduces a new sound that strays away from their old Post-Hardcore sound in February to February. The new heavier Alternative sound brings fans of, female-led alternative band, Paramore and even, Melodic Hardcore and Punk Rock band, Rise Against.

After releasing an EP in 2009 and a full-length record in 2012, the Indiana band finally signed with, the well-known record label, Victory Records. Ghosts Again is ForeverAtLast’s first debut with Victory Records.

The album Ghosts Again was recorded by Matt Goldman (Underoath and Anberlin) and mastered by Brian Thorburn (Norma Jean and Stray From The Path). Matt and Brian did an impressive job rounding the album out to sound like a clean and professional album. The vocals sound astounding along with the guitar and drums. I do wish the bass was more distinct, but that is expected for today’s music.

Personally, my favorite song off Ghosts Again is “Mr. Whitecoat”. “Mr. Whitecoat” was released as a single back in April 2014. This song has an impressive dual male-female vocals and bass riff that is catchy to the ear that makes you want to listen over and over again. Another song that really catches my attention is “Ghost in the Attic”. “Ghost in the Attic” not only serves the purpose of giving the album its title but shows the theme of the album in a pleasing way.

The main thing that makes this album so great is the lyrics. The lyrics are written very poetically and flow better than most albums composed today.

Overall, Ghosts Again is a wonderful Sophomore release for ForeverAtLast, and I can’t wait to hear more music from them. If you haven't heard this record, I definitely recommend checking it out.

And my second bit of information for you is to try and limit your reviews to 1 per day man. That way you're giving everyone enough "face time" on the front page

This band must have a Sputnik record: Their discography has a grand total of 7 ratings, but 3 of them are reviews!

Heard the lead single off of this & it was pretty good.

Diversity may be at a premium, but this is very consistent & cohesive... At the very least, it's a fun & promising LP.
