This album from the French band the spunyboys has surprised me upon it's discovery, caught the band playing live at a club. seeing them live is an addictive experience of it's own, they communicate so much energy, and even if they often play the same set of songs at different lives, it's still worth seeing that bassist dooing crazy stuff with his contrabass (throwing it the air, dancing with it, climbing over it while soloing) rthe band is as good to listen to over and over again on their CD /album as they are live, it communicates the same raw energy and power, and they deserve a larger audience, so give this band a try
