As of late, there's a small scale emergence of promising thrash/death metal outfits such as Dangerous, Ripper, Conflicted etc.. Ripper's debut album, Raising the Corpse revolves around old school thrash/death metal, with obvious Slayer and Sepultura vibes. While the band executes its material with the needed spite, songs structures tend to blend into each other, making the distinction of standout tracks difficult.
