Much of the same in the vein of 'Headphase;' languid, driving percussion and dreamy pads, with the welcomed reincorporation of driving bass. The EP meets the same pitfalls as its immediate predecessor, but I found the music to be far more palatable, with 'Skyliner' being reminiscent of the style and format of earlier tracks like 'Pete Standing Alone.' What largely differentiated 'The Campfire Headphase' from its antecedents was the elimination of clear sampling and defined leads, both of which detract greatly from the ethereal quality Boards had previously made their signature.
