If you are watching the special with animation this is a solid 4.5 if not higher. As a stand alone album it is still incredible and very funny while still holding the brutal style of Dethklok. Favorite non-metal song on the album has to be "I Believe" and "How can I be a Hero?"rIts a great listen and honestly my favorite dethklok album.

With the animation it's a 4.5. Musically still a 4 but a low 4. The music's still great and
gives us proper quality for the series' poppier moments, as well as properly showing off
Brendon Small's vocal capabilities, with him taking on almost every member of the band's
vocal duties as well as countless over characters. The contributions of Corpsegrinder Fisher
along with cameos from Jack Black, Mark Hamill and Malcom McDowell are also fantastic.
Recommended that you watch the movie first though otherwise the soundtrack won't make much
sense to you.

Not as good as just plain ol' Dethklok. The idea is awesome. The music is fine itself, and has some epic guitar moments in "Some Time Ago..." and "The Duel" for example. Blazing Star kicks balls! But the awkward phrasing/lyrics that accompanies most "musicals" is pretty bad.
