4.0 excellent | synk | August 17th 21 | First half is some very compelling vocal-driven glitch hop, best done when said vocals are chopped to oblivion but still a quality listen when handled as straightforward MC'ing. Second half verges deeper into broad IDM territory with longer ambient sections, less hip-hop percussion, and nuanced glitches pretty much unrecognizable from the pseudo-turntablist techniques of the first half. "Wednesday Afternoon" is basically a post-rock song; it's sort of out of place yet somehow works well during this second half. The edits on "Professor Glick" would spin a diehard AFX-drone's dome like a dreidel. Other majorly standout tracks are "Mofpex," "Oh How Shmee Loves DSP," and "Hoax".
