Great review, great album. I agree that seeing them play "There Are Objects and Objects" live would just be incredible.
Well done.

Really good review, dude. This is a solid album, and I agree about the build ups. "Forward/Backward" gives me chills every time I listen to it.

A Day In Black And White are fucking amazing. Great review, even though I would have really liked to do this. I'm really going to look into buying this.

I downloaded it. :upset: That's why I'm (still) not sure who plays what instruments and if they have two guitarists or a guitarist and a bassist.
It is very hard to find any information on this band at all.

It's definitely a guitar and bass.

emo is for pussies who have no friends and complain all the time.

Good review Sep, I will have to check these guys out some time.

its sounds really good! where can i get it?

Great review! Don't think I would like it though.

Bartender, would it be at all possible to delete these worthless "emo skucks lol" posts which taint this review of our beloved A Day in Black and White? It would be much appreciated.
And according to me ADIBAW CD booklet, there's 3 members. I hear plenty of two guitar action on the CD, but no bass, so I think we're safe to go with the 2 guitarists and a drummer theory.

Well, this was released through a smaller record label so you're going to have to try bigger CD places with lots of selection. I've seen it at my Tower records, and I would assume Virgin would probably have it. If you have to resort to the internet, either of these will do.

No way, there's definitely a very prominent bassline in "There Are Objects And Objects." "The Gaze" has audible bass too. True, they use a lot of guitar tracks but a lot of emo bands tend to do that just for the sake of noise. I think they have one guitar.
|
| |
Dammit, you may be right. I forgot about that bassline.

Cb bass hearing skills win again.

You know, if they do have one guitar though, I would really be interested as to how they do the intro to "Forward-Backward" live.

Amazon also sells it.
Check out two of their songs here.

And ACDC is for ignorant hicks who trash bands they've never listened to. Or people with a hermaphroditic fetish.
Edit (because Bartender deleted the quoter and the avatar is essential to my searing zinger): RobertOz has an ACDC avatar, hence the comeback.

Sorry, deleted them. I stand a much better chance of seeing things like that in one of the stickied threads than here
Good review Sep, though I can't comment at all.
