It took a long time before Hammerhawk came out with a full length album, almost 6 years since the debut EP.
The style has completely changed and i must admit i like the old style better.
Take the early raw heavy metal style and mix it with early thrash.
But damn this is a killer album, the guitar riffs are simply amazing and very original considering most of the material was written around 1987 !
Drums are also fabulous, if you are into double bassdrum excellence you have to listen to this beast !
Vocals are not my cup of tea, typical Hammerhawk in the same style as Algy Ward or a bit like Lemmy.
Standout tracks are Love Song, oh no !, If you see kay and Hit it !.
In their live concerts Hammerhawk was always a sensation, never a boring moment !
Highly underrated album from one of the first Dutch Metal bands.
