Yeah I read that there are some progressive elements in it and I love progressive music so it wouldn't
surprise me if it ends up one of my favourite sabbath albums when I listen to it.

Actually, their proggy albums are all weaker compared to the first 3. But SBS is by far the most consistent album they made after the first 3.

Well, I think their prog era began actually with Vol. 4. Despite the fact that it's hard 'n' heavy at some parts, different tracks such as "Changes", "Laguna Sunrise", "Saint Vitus Dance", or "FX", prevent me from classifying this with their first 3, at least when it comes to heaviness.
