I saw them perform Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday/Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and When September Ends on TV, and I liked it, but I'm not sure if I want to buy the album.

Yeah. American Idiot has the musical maturity of Warning, the lyrical genius of 39/Smooth, and the fun of Nimrod. Add them together and you get a genre-defining experience like Dookie.

I love this album. Being a huge Green Day fan I didn't expect this to ever top the other albums but I was pleasantly suprised.

tazu now what i said back there was rash
i didnt give this album a good enough chance
but now i have and i must say i like it and about the fouth guy i just wish they would give him credit intead of them hiding him and making the band seem like a trio n such
i must say after listenin to homcomming its my fav. on the cd (funny how i said i didnt like it but its funny when u open your mind and give things chances how much your taste and opion can change)
Great review.

I love Green Day and I would have to say they are the only punk band that I really like.
Someone's going to have to break the news to you eventually. Not me!

I'm not a Green Day fan, but I downloaded this album for some reason. It's not too bad actually, nothing mindblowing but definitely much better than all the other pop-punk that's around at the moment.

Extraordinary Girl is just pathetic though. "She's an extraordinary girl, in an ordinary world". Ugh.
Depends if he means the band or the footballer.
I wasn't aware of a band or football player named Rooney, I was thinking Andy Rooney from 60 Minutes.
