Interesting. I remember when I first heard this record around 2008 it was very fashionable to deride it as 'ripping of Queen'. It looks like the record has held up well 11 years on.

I don't really think ''Welcome to the Black Parade'' sounds like Bohemian Rhapsody at all imo. The only similarity is both songs are big and cinematic. It's too emo to be similar to Queen.

What does this even mean? Are you saying if a band is 'in' i.e. popular at the current time you won't listen to them but you will listen to them when they inevitably fall off a cliff? (popularity-wise) I don't get it.

Never been a fan of this band at all but I do enjoy Ghost of You a lot. The music video for that track is very well done too

That is easily one of their best songs

On a massive MCR nostalgia trip

For the genre, it's a fantastic work. In general it's excellent throughout. To me it isn't a "blatant ripoff" like many of you are saying it is. Hail to the king by avenged sevenfold is a blatant ripoff and should not be listened to.
