Thanks a lot. You should be able to find this at an FYE since Cradle of Filth is pretty popular as far as metal goes and FYE has a decent selection.

Your review was very very interesting but the only problem is that I have never liked Cradle Of Filth. But I will check this out in a near future.

If you really disliked them then this most likely won't change your mind. But it has appealled to many people who used to love them but hated their newer stuff.

This band have only gone down hill from the first album.

ive heard all these songs numerous times leaked, its great music... but i will not support a band like this by buying this cd with such a mocking cover art i not afraid to admit that

Um...are you a religious person?
And woah, some gracious mod featured my review! It wasn't me, just FYI. :p

I can only see the cover art on the mainpage, not on the review page. Anyone want to describe it to me then if it's found offensive to someone?

Im a Catholic, and to see Jesus' head cut off and in the arms of a woman (Mary?) is rather sickening. Its clearly a mocking. And i have mad respect for Christian metal bands out there who prove the genre isnt all about "666" and other obvious stereotypes.
dont get me wrong though, when i listen to music its the music and only the music that entices me, and this is great

Hrmm...I'm really not trying to be the huge Slayer fanboy that I am, but that could be considered as controversial as their cover art for "Christ Illusion". I too am a Christian, but I tend to brush off album covers, lyrics, and band acts, but I understand where you're coming from Bfhurricane.

Cradle does a ton of that stuff for shock value.

yeah Christ Illusion as well. I think Tommy Araya and Dani Filth are both freaks (more Dani) but what the hell its the music that really matters eh? im not here to start an argument haha just statin my opinion thats what this is for anyway

Interesting. I didn't know we had Christians here. I was raised devoutly Catholic but I love anti-religious music.

I was also raised as a Christian, a Methodist to be precise. I don't really listen to metal because it's against Christianity, but alot of bands that speak out against it happen to have very solid music.
However, Deicide is awful. :D

^^^
As I'm Catholic, I don't like really like anti-religious music, so I just ignore it for the most part and get on with my life. Just a preference.

Ben pulls through again.
I had this album for a period, but it didn't really hold my attention that much. I'm not a huge Cradle fan, but I do enjoy their older stuff from time to time. Granted, this album is much, MUCH better than Nymphetamine, but it's still just average in my book. I like how they implemented some straight up heavy moments, without any synths, but they need to work on those a bit more for them to truly work...they seem a bit unoriginal, if you ask me.

At least we still have intercourse.

On the subject of religion, I'm a christian . But i simply ignore the covers , lyrics etc and just listen to the music. I'm not bothered about anti-religious music at all.
