As with all He is Legend fans, I was a little weirded out by the new vocal style at first. But damn, as with their two before, it grew on me. A lot! I love this cd and its darker feel. I now love the new vocals as well. Schuylar has an amazing sing to scream transition. It pretty much fades from a pretty to a simply evil sounding scream. The riffs are catchy and well done. The drumming is also spot on and under rated imo. I dont know why people dog on this one so much. I love all three of their albums equally. Cheers to He is Legend.

I have seen these guys live and boy were they horrible or was it just unfortunate that they were followed by Chimaira. Throughout the performance, the vocalist did seem possessed as he was lying on the ground singing. It was a poor performance which really made me lose all the respect for this album

since i am hollywood impressed me so much i decided to pick this up despite the majority opinion being that the album blows. tbh i don't see where all the disapproval comes from...the album rules...but i must say that schuylar doesn't sound as good. other than that i like both albums equally.

I think a lot of the disapproval comes for people feeling cheated because Schuylar doesn't sing as well (although his scream got better), and also because they took on a heavier, more southern rock, sound. I was taken aback by it myself, but grew to love it. This album does rule, despite the naysayers.

I love this record. Croom sounds positively ridiculous when he screams, it's so so so good. Like, China White II... Stampede... Serpent Sickness... Electronic Throat.

But the end of Mushroom River sealed the deal. My favorite harsh vocals by far.

I WOKE WITH THE DUNGEON WITCH, NOW SHE'S GOT THE UPPER HAND.

This is the album that got me into He is Legend. I would say it's equal with I am Hollywood in terms of quality kick ass music

Ive got a question about SotP. I was listening to I am Hollywood then listened to this one and noticed a definite change in Schuylar Croom voice. It sounds like he smoked 4 packs a day between recordings. Just wondering if there is a reason anyone knows for his major change in vocals.

comparing the two is ridiculous. both are great in their own aspects, and it's pretty apparent they weren't going for a similar sounding album as IAH.

Nu metal? Oh please... Defiantly not Nu Metal.. Maybe a little Rock n Roll mixed with some southern twang, and angry melodies

that will blast through your cerebellum. Singing is not a con in any way shape or form, The Singing parts are crucial, its the part

that makes the screaming so intense, so meaningful, so passionate. How can you be part of the staff, and not appreciate singing

in album. If this album consisted upon purely screaming it would not be nearly as amazing as it is. I also believe this album

deserves much better than a 4 rating. This album truly rocks. Suck Out the Poison is a completely revamped and reconstructed

He Is Legend. He Is Legend has evolved into an amazing band, mixing creative story like lyrics with complex song structure, Even

the softer songs will rock your socks off. If this band is ever in your area, Go seem them, don't miss out on a great concert

experience..
