In terms of songwriting and variety, this > ROIR and RFL, and not to mention that a whole lot of today's bands owe their existence to this record. No one was mixing funk, metal, punk and soul like they did... just ask RHCP, Glassjaw, 311, Fishbone, Living Colour, any nu-metal bands, etc.
