I think only 8 is the only song that I would call average, the rest are awesome. #1, #3, #5 and #9 are classic In Flames songs...I even really like the instrumentals, espically the last one.

You're nuts, man. That keyboard section with Anders' vocals in Worlds Within the Margin is so powerful. That's probably my favorite part of the album.

I think the most mediocre song here is Food For the Gods.

Aside from Jotun, The Hive, Jester Script Transfigured, and Episode 666, wizard is right. Luckily those 4 songs contain so much awesomeness that I don't care really.

Jotun kinda bores me now. I always skip it. I guess I've just heard it too much.

I'd say this is their weakest album out of the four classics in their golden era. There's more filler on this.

by four classics you mean Lunar Strain TJR Whoracle and Colony?

that would be TJR-Clayman.

Out of those four albums, they got slightly weaker as they were released imo, so this is my second favorite IF album then.

I was referring to TJR - Clayman. Lunar Strain isn't that good at all. Lunar Strain was under-developed, sloppy, and had tons of filler. The vocals also got rather annoying. The only IF classic on that album is Behind Space. They stepped up their songwriting immensely for TJR.

Clayman isn't teh metalz enough for some I guess. It's a shame because Clayman had a lot of killer tunes and was probably the most experimental out of their four classics. And Colony is a huge step above this album as well. Every song on that album was great. That's just my opinion of course.

Clayman was the pinnacle point for this band.
