As i said throughout the review, this is better than the first album. I agree that this album doesn't have any blow your mind songs, but Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Shine On probably come closest to the defintion of a song that blows your mind.

This album is a massive improvement over Get Born. I am addicted to the title track "Shine On". Such an emotional song. Nic's vocals reminds me of Noel from Oasis.

i actually think this is a sweet ass album, but for some reason it hasn't been well accepted in aus. i hate it when some people just dont even listen and then just jump on the 'i hate it' bandwagon.

Wow I really don't understand all the hate towards this album; it really is very good and much better than Get Born.
A 3.5 is a very accurate score, IMHO. "Great" honestly does describe it well; some of the songs are just brilliant.
