mmm I think I prefer the production on here over forever changes, the bass and especially the percussion sound way better for me

you have the collectors edition from 2008? sounds quite a bit better than the original cd i reckon, or vinyl?

But this is like the most consistent album ever tho...

It's like the only album I'd rate where every song is 4.0 or higher. :/

Butcher's Tale has one of the coolest vocal works I've heard tbh

agreed. butcher's tale gets bad rep for being the odd one out. yeah the vox are funny but i think they work in the songs favour. song is trippy af, got an old time/sea-chanty type feel that i can get down to, and it's heavy on the feels too

edit: fairy enough jac, altho i do believe blunstone sings it live, but i can't remember.

re-edit: nah, he does not sing it live. :/

Butcher's Tale is so eerie and beautiful. One of my favorite tracks here actually

butcher tale works so well with how secretly dark the album is

i love this album still has remnants of their r&b past

particularly on this will be our year (underrated af imo)

and especially on time of the season

what's your name, who's your daddy? is he rich like me?"
smooth as butter, man.

Why is this so consistently great and their other stuff so incredibly inferior to this.

She's Not There is still probably their best song considering it was released back in '64.
