En mi vida, el escuro me mantiene.....
One of the glorious moment of the album..
haha, i love it so much

It’s extremely ridiculous if you actually take the time to think about it, but so was Nirvana’s popularity in the early ‘90s so what can you do.
How is that NOT bashing Nirvana?
|
| |
I love this album I don't know why people bash it?
|
| |
Well, it is somewhat strange how popular Nirvana were considering how un radio friendly they could be and how sloppy they were and all that stuff.
I don't like this band at all.
I won’t forget who I’m looking for
Oh mother help me I’m looking for

Wait till I get my hands on you
I won't forget a face that left me

i gotta prayer that'll make you theirs now
beneath sepulchers
raise your entrails as an offer
I just find that the lyrics are all so repetitively trying to recreate L'Via L'Viaquez.
Every single song is about getting revenge, and it's getting pretty old.

fantastic review my friend, although i still havent got into this yet, i bought it with high hopes, and was a little dissapointed. but i know they take time to grow, like frances the mute did. oh yea, i reviewed frances the mue, id appreciate it if you would check out my review coz im kinda new to this, an you seem to know wot your doin. cheer dude

This is my first post on the site, so I might as well make it count:
This album's great, easily one of the best this year. Frances the Mute is still my favourite of the band's releases, but this comes a close second.
Day of the Baphoments rules.

The Day of Baphomets is my favorite song it clearly states what musical fusion is.

I have a hard time with this band. Their more accessable songs are some of the best music I've ever heard (Eriatarka, Televators, The Widow), but every time they go into four minutes of screeching instruments with random-ass ambiance I think I'm going to go insane. There's really not one song on this album that I can say I like.

Good review man. I haven't heard this and only have the first album which is great. The musicianship is quite incredible.

The album grows on me the more I listen to it. Not as good I think as past albums, but still really enjoyable to listen to.

Phew, big review, pretty good though! When I first heard this album, I thought it was absolutely terrible..., but after 9 months of hard listening, ITS NOW, QUITE POSSIBLY, MY BEST MARS VOLTA ALBUM!

I don't know if this is better than De-Loused or not yet.
Nothing touches Frances, however.

they named this album after their publisher: Amputekthure. It's inside of Frances and Amputechture's booklet.

I have DitC and FTM, although FTM is only on my xbox so I don't listen to it so often.
Would be nice to see what I'd make of this. Mammoth review Pixies.
