Uhh, this is the only In Flames album I've actually bought for some reason. Other 4 were pirated. I stand my previous statements for the album. It's a shame this band couldn't put out a decent music video to save their life.

I think they had a video for My Sweet Shadow. I don't remember it being very good though.

Ok, having read all of these comments and the review, I can now write my own opinion and discuss a few of yours as well. I've noticed that very few people actually liked Superhero of the Computer Rage which is one of the best songs from that album. Evil in a Closet is one of my favorites also, that song is just too powerful, My Sweet Shadow also, they both rock too hard. This album is one of my favorites to be honest, but it became my favorite after having listened to it for 3 years ... They've definitely industiralized their sound with this one and it's excellent, it's something new that we haven't heard yet from them. The Quiet Place is now my favorite song of all from In Flames, it just grew too much on me, maybe because of the synthesizers and strong back vocals and the power it posseses. It's just too awesome. This Message Edited On 04.13.08

This has grown on me rediculously lately, I'm really starting to enjoy this! Obviously In Flames hasn't made "(insert favorite old album here)" again, but it's a shame so many people turned on them...

I have also changed my mind about this album. It's really good but it took me a lot of time to appreciate it. At first (when i bought it in 2004) I only noticed the catchy and direct "dial 595 escape". And i didn't like the rest of the album. But "the quiet place, my sweet shadow, evil in a closet, dial 595 escape an d bottled are great songs and froend, touch of red, in serach for i are good ones". I didn't notice "superhero of the computer rage" but I'll relisten to it.

I never realized how awesome of a song The Quiet Place was until I was randomly playing my In Flames playlist one day. Such a great pump-up song, I listen to it every time before I swim my races. I consistently listen to Evil In A Closet as well, so beautiful and heavy.
