"r they wishing well and walk away? they seem less likely to be included for some reason"

Yup, every other song here is included.

i dont know why, but sabbath bloody sabbath was a huge dissapointment to me. the rest, although not by any means terrible, still seems kind of boring

the riff and solos are awesome, but ozzys vocal performance is just bland. you have to admit that he is a brutal singer compared to dio

yeah ozzy is technically far worse than dio, but he has a certain uniqueness that makes him appealing

I agree, but I listened to 'the essential ozzy' and he just gets annoying after listening to him too much. With sabbath though, yeah he has a certain uniqueness that just works.

In the wake of listening to the new Heaven and Hell album, I listened to all of Sabbath's Dio-era stuff and I still can't believe how win it all is. Ronnie James Dio is one of my all-time favourite vocalists.

yeah, he is pretty amazing. on 'Sign Of The Southern Cross' found on The Mob Rules, he has some really amazing vocals, and goes from really high pitched and dream like to his traditional epic wail.... awesomeness

I just ordered this today. I actually don't own anything from Sabbath. I know I probably should have gotten Paranoid or their self-titled album, but I still like the sound of this more than the others. To me, Ozzy didn't really become tolerable as a singer until he went solo. His stuff in Sabbath just never got to me as much as his stuff did when he was solo. Then again, he was playing with the likes of Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee, so it's somewhat understandable.

This is great and all but when I think of Sabbath I think of the brooding, doomish sound of the early records, the first 3 in particular. Ozzy’s vocals aren’t really that great but they were just the perfect fit for this style.

I love this album, if I want to listen to something that sounds like an early Sabbath record well thats what i'll listen to.

Children of the Sea has such a fucking beautiful intro in my opinion haha. I remember listening to this song over and over again as a child when my older cousin would take me with him on roadtrips out to my grandmas or the lake. And that was long, long before I even actually liked music.

Yeah that guitar part from Children of The Sea is so much fun to play.

I have ordered this and it should have arrived a week ago, but the delivery time has been moved to the end of this month. Damn, I was looking forward to having this album. Neon Knights is a perfect opener and the title track keeps its charm after many, many listens.

Yes t'is. I'm digging Accept right now, and loving the vocals, especially on Balls to the Wall (the track), even though they're produced by a troll.

Udo Dirkschneider and Ronnie J Dio are two of metal's greatest vocalists
