Yeah, there is a difference. That's why metalcore is stuff like Merauder, 100 Demons, Walls Of Jericho, First Blood, and Hatebreed. You know, stuff that actually still has some hardcore in it, unlike the majority of bands that get called Metalcore for lack of a fitting term.

Jeff Loomis of Nevermore plays the solo on Soul Engraved.. that's why it sounds so different (harder) than all the other solos on the album.

These guys are one of the best NWOAHM bands around. Their music is very intense and energetic and the guitar playing is very cool.

I've been into God Forbid for a while. They were really the only Metalcore band i liked and they got me into the genre. I only have this and IV: Constitution Of Treason from them and i think that this is better. The vocals on this album seem much more intense than on IV: Constitution Of Treason.
