Nah. You can always tell whether you like one vocalist or another, despite the genre. That goes for instrumentation, not vocals, unless of course...your talking about death metal growling versus Paul McCartney's singing voice, but these two aren't that different.

Well obviously it's kind of absurd to compare this to Master of Puppets because they're so different.
I hate it when people say that. You can compare Death Metal to folk if you want to. Obviously not in a direct sense, but someone is obviously going to be better at what they do than the other, and in that sense you can compare them. It's not difficult.

Good Charlotte's better in every aspect except for the vocals, which only pertains to their first two albums. The vocals on Chronicles are better than Billie Joe. GC's instrumentation is so much better, and also Paul Thomas is a better bass player than Mike Dirnt.
