Definitely not as good as Soviet Kitsch. Still a pretty good album, though some of the tracks are quite questionable.

This album while having a lot of bright spots, has a few clunkers to keep it from truly delivering. From what I've read here, I think I'll probably dig Soviet Kitsch a lot more. Will definitely check that out soon.

I heard this lady on the radio the other morning, and her voice (speaking voice) sounded very cute so I thought I would inquire about her. Now I'm listening to her album, and it's, well, great.

First four tracks = one of the best opening 13/14 minutes to an album I've heard in a long time. Samson is seriously beautiful, my highlight of the album at the moment.

she was on radio today covering a john lennon song, and the guy asked her "why did you choose to sing this song?" and she answered in the softest voice i've ever heard, "because i like it." i thought it was so cute.

this album is ridiculous. Regina is probably my favorite pop artist now.

The first 4 tracks are brilliant, but the drop off is fairly steep after that. I get tired of the latter half of the album pretty quickly and always ending up skipping back to the start. I really like On The Radio, it's very clever and catchy. The fact that it name checks November Rain is pretty great too.

It's her least impressive, in my opinion, but still quite good.

oh, and i just have to say this:
samson from "songs" is sooooo much better the the samson redux at play here as the third track.

its slower, and much more effective.
the samson redux was 100% unnecessary.

Soviet Kitsch is obviously better because Soviet Kitsch is better than most things.
