If Green Day makes another album like American Idiot, my not going to be much of a fan of theirs anymore. If they want to do something more mature, they should at least have music that is equally superior to the story instead of a bunch of 3 chord songs. But hey, if they do another record like this with a bunch of 3 chord songs, thats fine by me.

How do you know what I listen to? Alkaline Trio is one of my favorite bands so don't act like you know anything because you don't. And I listen to a lot of music genres, yet you seem to think I only listen to pop-punk. Green Day is much more rock than Billy Joel will ever be that's what I'm trying to say. But does "more rock" mean better?
