Having a more straight-forward and less drowsy feeling than Kyuss
I have always felt the opposite (lullabies to Paralyze). Whenever I listen to kyuss (often) I have the urge to dance. That's just crazy old me.

Good Review

Like it but 'Songs For The Deaf' is my fave QOTSA.

Rate Kyuss higher, they were something special. A different style yes, but prefer the more earthy and developed riffs, leads and ambience.

There are definately some classic QOTSA songs on here, but to me this is their weakest. Listening to their debut and then their other stuff, it feels as if they took a step backward with this. Best Tracks: Feel Good Hit of the Summer, Better Living Through Chemistry, In the Fade, Monsters in the Parasol.

I prefer SFTD but for me its the diversity here that makes it one of QOTSA's best albums, none of their others even come close to matching it.
