Reading the review and the first page hurt me physically. This album isn't meant to be judged as a cohesive piece so I think anything but a track by track is a misguided attempt to review this.
I don't like most of the bands on here, but BTBAM's absolute surrender to the different styles (right down to the tones, effects, and the vocals) is a treat to hear. All I took away from this is that BTBAM are not only the best at writing original music, they're also better than you at your own music.
As for them not being creative enough with the material, (I don't know if this has been addressed in previous posts) listen to any of these songs side by side with the BTBAM version. As if Lars Ulrich can drum that fucking well.
