It's hard for me to decide on which is better, this or Miasma. I think their both better than each other in certain aspects, but over all, their pretty neck and neck. Can not wait for Nocturnal, though.

Your review is decent enough, but I immediately categorize you the moment I see a score of 5. The score of 5 needs to be used sparingly. Nothing The Black Dahlia Murder have ever made warrants a 5, and I actually doubt anything they will ever make will deserve a 5. A 5 implies that the album is perfect, there is nothing that could be done to make it better, and that the large majority of people who listen to it will really like it or at least respect it for its quality.
For example, I have rated 130 albums as of this post, and only 3 of them have earned a 5. You lose credibility as a reviewer if you immediately give 5 to albums that really have not earned it.

I had forgotten how much I liked this album. Miasma is nowhere near this and Nocturnal is better than both.

Nah. Overall, Nocturnal is better coherancy wise and individal track wise. The production, vocals, and guitar tones were all better, and you still can't hear the bass.
