One of these days I'll just start at the beginning and work through all her 60s/70s material.

The surprising part of her discography, I found, is actually two records she released in the early 2000s, Both Sides Now and Travelogue, both of which consist of orchestral jazz interpretations of previous songs of hers and standards. She lowered her range a lot, but still gives a phenomenal performance, even though the result is a bit conservative.

From her 70s discog, Hejira and The Hissing of Summer Lawns are the only records I found keeping up with this one's quality. In my opinion, Hejira is lyrically her most accomplished album. I haven't listened to anything after Hejira, but all the previous records have their share of great moments
