"Whereas “normal” shoegaze uses this to create a dreamlike atmosphere, Grandeur of Hair does this as well, creating a haze so thick you could capture some in your arms."

this doesnt seem to make sense

My ears are so broken that they start to feel bad about your pussy ass ears, Boney.

Jk, love you.

If you can't handle this, start by listening to Jesu.

I subjected myself to this 5 whole times and one of them left me feeling physically exhausted/nearly ill

It's not that I "can't handle" this, more that I think it's bad because there's no substance beneath the noise. It's just noise for noise's sake.

Wrong, there are details behind the noise. I might not be able to explain it right now since I haven't dive deep into this album, but saying that there is no substance behind the noise is just plain wrong.

Strip this of the noise and it would just become boring instead of listenable.

??????????????? why would you strip it of the noise tho? like if you stripped metal of distortion that would be lame but its also kinda the point or maybe im retarfed idk

That's my point. The noise is all this is.

I mean obviously it's fine if you guys enjoy it, it clearly just doesn't do it for me.
