'Eve is just as bad as their other post-YFM sludge attempts'

Seriously, dude? I'm not even going to point out why this is so, so wrong if you don't realise yourself.

Glacial Pace is really good too, I was just less offended on behalf of that track (compared to the others).

A bit of cc for the review - try to avoid word repetition, especially in quick succession. Examples from the review:

1. "Opener and A-side title track “I Can Tell You About Pain” opens up"

2. "There really is no issue with I Can Tell You About Pain musically. But the fact that it is only two tracks serves as a minor issue."

3. "what are they teasing? Where are they going to go from a song like “Eve”? Where could they go? If the new record is anything like the tracks teased here"

4. "spiritual void of terror, and it cuts there... Converge are looking at an intricate and terror-infused revolution in sound that only they themselves could reinvent.

Also, I disagree with the suggestion that Bannon's vocals are massively improved, cause they sound the same as they did on AWLWLB to me, but to each his own.

regarding the discussion about the inclusion of these tracks on the album: I know some of you remember they released Runaway and On My Shield as a single release months before AWLWLB, just like they did now with these songs. they later included it in a special version of the album iirc. can't remember if they were in an original version, because I remember mine didn't have them.

On My Shield was one of the best tracks from the AWLWLB sessions.

These are probably two of Converges strongest tracks. Definitely a fantastic (and logical) progression from their last album.
