I was just tired last night and couldn't find the inspiration for a conventional review, so I decided to experiment a bit instead :]

Thanks! I appreciate it. I've only done a few poem reviews thus far, and the last one was all the way back in 2015. I like doing these, honestly

Homogenic is actually kind of meh imo. Outside of like 4 or 5 stellar tracks, it really drags hard in the middle. Joga, Hunter, Pluto, all is full of love are all God tier but I never really got the appeal for the rest of it

I can see your point, Gyro. Ironically for an album named Homogenic, I'd actually say the record occasionally gets too homogeneous. I still love it though

It was mine too. It was crazy hearing The Hunter for the first time, knowing that was the first exposure to Bjork

My first was Joga and I perfectly remember entering in some kind of orgasmic trance and asking my friend "what the fuck did I just hear?"

Profound poem, SoccerRiot. In order to understand it still more, I've translated the entire thing to adapt it in French and it worked pretty well. Bravo! I'm listening to the album. I'm half the way now and I enjoy it so far.

Thanks Jethro! The album is quite the experience for sure. I love how Bjork can shift through so many genres and still retain her identity
