Review Summary: A fantastic album that brings even more unique elements of Death Grips to the table.

Death Grips brings another monster of an album for all to bare witness to its intended sonically induced madness. This album has the more upbeat and unusual experimentation coming from The Money Store(possibly their most loved release) but also the harsh and dark industrial portions from “No Love Deep Web”. It brings more instrumentation to the party ala “The Powers The B” but with a cleaner tone, a more constructed and precise sound, and even more visceral and mind-bending lyrics covering this album in the pure aggression, expressionism, and contemplation.

At points it sounds like a technological nightmare or drug trip gone bad, however it makes it all the more interesting with it’s deep lyrical content, metaphors and overall audio assault that it encompasses. This album does seem to be structured a bit more logically than the last release(s), however it is just as unique and experimental, especially during the second half of the album. This album might be the closest I’ve heard to what Death Grips has shown with their live shows and their overall underground and internet-era feel, but it still sounds pristine and comes at you with beats and flows, yells, and pulsing electronica like never before.

Death Grips is a band that is hard to describe with just words, they are an experience, ethereal and angry poets pushing their almost drug-like songs and structures upon a baffled and intrigued modern age. Possibly my favorite release of the year, it’s a must listen for fans of something different.

The only true comparisons I can really think of are Clipping, Nine Inch Nails, Run The Jewels, Rat King, Massive Attack and Swans…still that’s a long shot.

You make a lot of vague statements, would consider going deeper into what you're talking about.

there are quotes around "The Money Store" but none around "No Love Deep Web". Needs more depth/proofreading.

Album titles should be italicized anyway. Song titles get quotation marks.

Decent review for a first. Kind of oddly structured, but there are good ideas here.

Agree with fullofsounds. This is extremely vague and doesn't explain much. Also, you have back to back sentences that start with this album. Next time explain the sound of the album and songs, explain why you think it is logically structured, etc.

Death Grips brings another monster of an album for all to bare witness to its intended sonically induced madness.

I am dumbfounded by this sentence.

This album has the more upbeat and unusual experimentation coming from The Money Store(possibly their most loved release) but also the harsh and dark industrial portions from “No Love Deep Web”.

You need a space here. Needs better phrasing too.

It brings more instrumentation to the party ala “The Powers The B” but with a cleaner tone, a more constructed and precise sound, and even more visceral and mind-bending lyrics covering this album in the pure aggression, expressionism, and contemplation.

"Ala" should be two words, a la, unless you're referring to the user ALA. Also, you use too many words for something as simple as comparing the sound of two albums

At points it sounds like a technological nightmare or drug trip gone bad, however it makes it all the more interesting with it’s deep lyrical conten

Should be "its"

This album does seem to be structured a bit more logically than the last release(s), however it is just as unique and experimental, especially during the second half of the album.

First of all your usage of "(s)" confuses me. What are you comparing this album to? You've already compared this to The Money Store and The Powers that B among others. Are you still comparing this to the albums already mentioned? Or specifically The Powers that B because it's a double album? It'd make more sense if this was prefaced with a better sense of the timeline of the band's discog you are referring to at this point because all you've done so far was compare Bottomless Pit to practically the band's entire discog.

And what about the second half of this album feels particularly experimental? I personally don't see it, it's just the band incorporating trap influences to their established sound on Jenny Death which isn't really that experimental, especially compared to the likes of, say, Niggas on the Moon.

Please, for future reference, learn to not be afraid to go long hand and write longer reviews. Concise ones work if you can adequately pack everything into a few paragraphs but you clearly have a lot to say about this album and you end up filling this review with a lot of clumsy sentences that contain a lot of words but only speak very little.
