It really just washed over me. It just felt like a quick breeze of air, didn't even realize it had ended when it did.

I feel ya, that's how I felt the first time listening to it. It's no No Place, and it's no Conversation Piece, but it is an enjoyable listen for me. Last four tracks rule

This was definitely a weaker album than Conversation Piece I feel, roughly around No Place for me. I feel like the album could have benefited from some of their previous flair, they've managed to just blend in with this offering I feel.

I think with the sole exception of some cringe-worthy out-of-tune gang-vocals like 5 tracks in, I love every second of this. Gets better with each listen.

After listening to the full album a few times I find this really underwhelming. It's not terrible by any means but just doesn't make me want to repeat it or recommend it to anyone. Trace the lines is the one track that sticks with me the most because i feel it captures the emotional dynamic that spans through most of the album. The first and second halves are extremely disjointed tho, I wonder what sounds they will lean towards on future releases. I hope their fan base doesn't take too much of a hit from this because they are talented.

Dang, to each their own I guess. I can see where you're coming from with those criticisms, but at the same time they don't ring true with me personally. I just love every second of this. Haven't stopped listening!

I enjoyed this album and even saw the whole thing played live at one of their release tour shows, but I still don't see myself ever revisiting this much

Jamming this now and I feel like it's better than people are giving it credit for.

Sure doesn't help that the best song by a mile is the 2nd track. It's also the only one with a slightly faster tempo than the rest. Or so I remember. It all sounds the same.

It's Cory and two other vocalists making the album that should've come after No Place, riffs so hard. Band is called Sufferer, album is self titled

So yeah I came back to this, and it still rules?
I guess I would have had to have been a huge fan of ALLB's prior work. I much prefer this style to their old.
(Tried Sufferer -- it's good, but not my thing)

No Place and Conversation Piece are so much more varied and fun as opposed to this, what makes you like this style more?

I just like the slower pace, it allows for more melodies I enjoy and overall it feels more passionate
