I heard the first few songs from this and I didn't know who it was at the time but it was decent.

After listening through them more and more, I actually like For Shelley and The Sound of Us a lot. Might bump this to a 3.5, but this is still a disappoint after the godsends that were Conversation Piece and No Place

This is a 3.5 at the minimum, possibly a 4 for me. I'm surprised more people aren't digging this. Sure its not nearly as chaotic and aggressive as they used to be, but its catchy, accessible and still has a real cool sound and atmosphere to it.

I think Divisi, Good Soil, and Further Below will end up being some of my all time favorites by these guys.

Might go catch these guys show on saturday. Their playing through this whole album and then have 3 songs off their last album as an encore. I like this a good amount so 16 bucks seems worth it.

Can any of them even hit Kurt's register?

I think Atoms In Evening might be my favorite track right now. It's the one that is stuck in my head the most. Album is slowly growing on me more and more. may need to bump my rating eventually.

So unfortunately I bought a ticket to this and 5 minutes later my buddy asked me to come visit him in Milwaukee for the weekend so I basically wasted 15 dollars. Such is life I guess.

it's no jade's-review-for-No Place but I tried ok

Omg my review could NOT have been that good!! I wrote it so long ago, it feels like.

I still need to check this out, though it certainly sounds like it won't be my cup of tea

So I ended up going to their show tonight and they played Divisi in full. I enjoyed it, but the songs just lack the energy they used to have. The only song on the new album that had the same energy was Divisi. Honestly the crowd was pretty stand still until the encore when they played old songs. Kurio Ledge as the closer was nuts.

This is a great review. Loved No Place to death, and this is still pretty good. I love "Trace the Lines" and "Atoms in Evening" a fair bit.

It grew on me after a lot of listens, I like Cory's singing quite a bit. I do wish he'd scream more tho, he was getting better with every release and then he just halted it.
