i can sort of relate dude
last year I helped a fairly close 'friend' get an internship - and eventually a job in an engineering firm (through my uncle) - which he never really thanked me for - he had to move to the other side of the country for it - so i messaged him a few times asking how it was going , he saw them but never once replied... then last month found out he was back in town yet hadn't even bothered to hit me up . I'm making a point of never speaking to the ungrateful prick again.

I can hear a lot lot lot of holy ghost era mobo in this. Kind of just makes me want to check out holy ghost again lol. If I didn't know this wasn't mobo and I heard "Where Are You?" I would just figure modern baseball was putting out a new ep. Though I think these guys have a sense of atmosphere that mobo probably doesn't have the capacity for.

Snake hearing your story makes me glad that I live in an area where no one listens to this or any other kind of music I like. I would hate having a band I like ruined because of someone totally unrelated.

That almost happened to me with The National's Trouble Will Find Me and this ex girlfriend of mine, but I powered through with that record because that record is too important to me to be ruined by a girl.

I wasn't planning on checking this, but the review and the comments have peaked my interest enough to give it a shot.

After one listen, yeah I'm not feeling it. It's definitely not bad, but I'm not really feeling anything, aside from a few standout tracks. It apes Deja Entendu way too much in my opinion, and it's very distracting. I'll give it a few more spins to see if it grows, but so far, it's just okay.

After about 10 listens my rating has gone from a 4 to a 3. Lyrics too depressing for me, who wants to hear about his poor hygiene and friends deaths over and over. No Halo is awesome, rest average

I have been listening to the 3 singles on repeat for weeks now. So excited for this especially with the high ranking reviews. Didn't know I missed this coming out!

great album, no halo is such a tune. a big step forward for this band when compared to their last full-length

leaf ellis from the twiabp split is still by far their best song though

Some of the lyrics here are very 'early Sean Bonnette'-great. Good stuff.
