Listening to this now, and I am really pleased by the sounds used. Lots of vintage drum machines and strings it seem.

Dafuq this is incredible. Easily their best since PtA whoa. It's getting a lot of heat on RYM, which is quite sad.

Yeah noticed it on day one, it puzzles me. Bet that had they used something else as a single it would be different

I really dig this record, but there's nothing here that knocks my socks off.

I might agree it's the best since PTA but imma have to give it a little longer before actually calling it better than Delta

The Jungle Spirit mixes of this are pretty nice too

Excellent review! Listening to this right now and letting it sink in, this is indeed complex but another DM Masterpiece.

Can't say I'm too hot on this one after all. As said I think the Eternal/Poison Heart/So Much Love streak is pretty sweet. Fail is also great, but overall "good album" fits my feelings best

it amazes me that people still compare everything they do to Violator
that was over 20 years ago
they're not even trying to make an album like that again
why not just appreciate the new stuff for what it is? or at the very least, update your "grading standard" to like PTA or something

Liking it more and more after each listen. You Move, Cover me, Fail and Eternal are my stand out tracks at the moment. Loving the first four Spirit Jungle mixes as well. Especially Cover Me (Alt Out) feels like the missing instrumental on the regular album.

This grew off me a bit. It's still a great album, but I find myself just wanting to skip to the Highlights. Where's The Revolution is still one of the best tracks of the year so far though.
