Thanks Atomic! I love a lot of his stuff too; I wish I could enjoy this one more. Even if he doesn't surge back, I am fully confident Destiny Potato's next outing will be a blast.

Yea definitely, part of my rating is based on his prior work. It is a good sign of individuality when you are being compared more to your own work than the work of your peers. That being said, I feel I still would have given this a similar score even if it was a debut released when it was, maybe half a step up at most.

If it were a debut released five years ago, it'd be a decently adventurous record, but the songwriting is still pretty flawed at a basic level. He's a clever man though; who knows what he has brewing as of now.

You say that his music fails to be progressive, but is he really trying to be progressive? The way I see it the album is for the most part simple yet emotionaly engaging, as it tries to be. Some of it he even wrote and recorded on the spot supposedly (when she crafts). I agree with the auto pilot but disagree with the tunnel vision. Micic's creative enough to write music constantly.

To bad it didn't click with you, and I do agree that it would be nice to see him experiment more and hopefully he will next record.

Good review though you made some good points.

I hope so. LUN is infinitely more enjoyable than anything Micic has put out since Bilo 3.0.
