But gosh it's so great, the whole feeling is so epic, and even the raw production fits perfectly in the theme.

The only thing that bothers me about this otherwise awesome album are the interludes. I don't really care about Morgoth shouting for 28 seconds till the next track starts off. Though normally I like it when albums are tied together with interludes. Kamelot have done a great job doing so on Epica.
