it's not, the entire thing is brickwalled to oblivion and back, measuring at DR4, some tracks at DR3
i mean, i've heard much worse sounding albums than this one but it becomes difficult to pick out the complexity in the sound when it's so squashed. the drums really suffer which is tragic because the drumming itself is fucking fantastic.
doesn't ruin the album but it is a shame.

does it have a vinyl specific mastering? most vinyl rips are DR11 or so even if they use the CD master. it's a weird phenomenon.
