every time I listen to this I just keep coming back to the new Norma Jean album. It's pretty good, but it's nothing that particularly warrants repeat listens all that often. I feel like 'Praise Poison' should've been much longer than it actually is. It just sort of cuts off.

I think it's the "I'm not tired" bit that throws me off and the build up after that. It's like a 2 min metalcore song wedged to like Appleseed cast or Album Leaf song after that with emo-y spoken/shouted lyrics. It';s a weird song.

No I don't listen to much m,etalcore. But I was 16-17 when dear love came out and i remember it sort of fondly.

I mean it doesn't sound like what I'd normally call "metalcore" and there's not much obvious punkiness to it. I've listened to like 0 post-hardcore tho so all this stuff's still fuzzy to me.

Like for real I jammed a bit of this and if it wasn't TDWP I'd have no little idea what genre to tag it :|

Its very obviously metalcore.

I still find this to be their best album, and I find myself constantly going back to it to hear more.

Haven't listened to this yet, how is it in comparison to 8:18/Dead Throne?

A step up. The instrumentation is a huge step forward for these guys, and even though people say the lyrics aren't good, I have no issues with the concept of the album or the lyrics.

I'll have to give this a spin then. I've been so hesitant because I didn't like Space as much as I did 8:18. That being said, Daughter was sick

Space is the odd one out in their recent discography. I wouldn't put Space anywhere near this album.

Space sucked. Everything else post zombie has hovered around 3.3 for me

It all sucks. Dead Throne just sucks the least.

Zombie, Dead Throne, 8:18 and Transit Blues don't suck. They aren't that great, but they definitely dont suck
