it's a little bit more folk than rock, which is partly why i dig it so much. but it's just as haunting as this album if not more so

This is one of the only things going on with the whole "chick-with-a-guitar" thing that is actually amazing. Nadler is good, and Wolfe has her moments but more than anything is just part of modern trends. Rundle though has a sense of composition and soul that makes her immortal. Not seeing this makes me wonder why the reviewer holds such a position.

She is becoming more popular because she is touring like crazy and working her ass off. I don't think she shifted her style but instead she evolved it making it even more personal. There's absolutely nothing like Marked for Death out there right now.
