Site needs to revisit anything that isn't called "Persecution Mania", "Agent Orange" or "M-16" prob, there is plenty of cool and diverse stuff in this discography

This is great stuff, loving the more black metal vocals like the older days. Don't understand the review and/or the avg rating. If you like sodom, there's a lot of enjoyment to be found here.

avg is only low because people saw the review and were like "this must be bad 1 it"

A solid 3 is not to throw away. You could make the argument that people see that rating as a terrible one though, which is sad

Possibly, but relative to the other sodom albums, this is way better than masquerade and til death, both of which have higher ratings, for example

M-16 is fucking amazing. Not a weak track.

S/T was alright, I liked In War and Pieces more. Epitome was very bland. I'd put this just slightly above In War and Pieces.

Only listened to this album a couple times through but so far this is the album I wish Sodom followed up In War and Pieces with.

And not like it matters but In War and Pieces had amazing artwork too.

I agree, but recent trends show it doesn't matter as much as it used to. This iTunes era definitely hurt it. Hopefully bands/artists start paying more attention to artwork now that vinyl in seeing a resurgence.

Like Epitome of Torture, Sodom remains in safe territory delivering raw and agressive thrash without any major stylistic shifts or changes. And even if it has a couple of mediocre cuts they still kick major ass. Tom's voice is great (it reminded me a lot of their early days), the sound is well balanced and songs like Caligula, Who Is God and Sacred Warpath deliver the goods.
